double trouble....

i tell ya, having two two year olds (or one almost two year olds) has it's joys. it also has it's challenges! some, more humerus than others...

yesterday, ryan learned how to climb out of his crib. i never had a "crib escapee" before. but, the truth is, i should have seen it coming. veronica has been climbing in and out of ryan's crib for weeks. it was only a matter of time before ryan followed her.

well, finally, yesterday, ryan was brave enough to go for it. i knew we were in for it. but, i didn't know how bad. seems, he also learned how to turn a door knob and open his bedroom door....or any door for that matter. uh oh!

this morning, sure enough, ryan woke up bright and early, climbed out of his crib and escaped his room. what was the very first thing he did? yup! he went to get his partner in crime. veronica hasn't figured out how to escape from her room yet. but, she no longer needs to worry about that....she has ryan to free her.

their next stop? of course, our bedroom! "mommy, mama, daddy, papa,"

yeah, i have a feeling we are in for some early mornings.
