gosh, where do i even begin. life is so full! it's busy. it's crazy. it's fun. it's challenging, it's trying, it's exhausting, it's everything i wanted.
tj....he's getting so big. he's reading. he has playdates. he loves the computer. he's doing cub scouts and basketball. what can i say, he's a big kid now.
andrew....my funny guy. he has the best imagination. he plays all day long. i don't regret one thing we got him for christmas, because he plays with each and every toy.
ryan....my music man, my giggler, my social butterfly. he loves everyone. he laughs all the time. he has a really joyful spirit. oh, and he is talking non-stop. about time, right?
henry....baby hen, hens, golden hen....he is such a love. he snuggles, he dances, he gets around (i wouldn't say he crawls. just gets around). he has four teeth already and his face is usually messy. he's another happy boy. oh, but did i mention he is still not sleeping through the night. oh yeah, and no bottle either. i guess he is a little stubborn. (and, i guess this is why i haven't blogged in three months.)
veronica...miss v, "oh, that girl"...where do i begin. she is so sweet, and so cute. she makes me laugh, everyday. she is a super snuggler and gives the best hugs. she also gives me at least one grey hair a day. seriously, i can not take my eyes off of her! for. one. minute! she is into everything! help me out moms, it is a girl thing? a two year old thing? and adopted child thing?
let me give you a few examples...
veronica thought it would be a nice idea to style her hair with decitin. i was away from her for maybe 5 minutes and this is what i find....
she didn't only do it once, but agian the next day...
she has broken multiple objects in our home. actually, it is at least one thing, daily. some of the victims were the glass tabletop on her wicker night table, multiple glasses, two lamps, the vacuum, an i-phone, dishes, picture frames, just to name a few.
she eats lipstick and chapstick on a regular basis. i mean, why not?
she enjoys playing in the toilet. i think she might be trying to clean it, but she still manages to flood the bathrooms. toys make excellent objects to flush.
she also thinks that rather than keeping her clothes in drawers, a much better place for them would be on the floor. all. over. her room!! (or ry-guys when she is in his room)
she also makes a habit of taking off her clothes. i know it's a little strange, but not surprising. until this sunday. when she took off her clothes and went in my bedroon and pooped on the floor. yup. should i take this as a sign that she is ready to potty train?
coloring herself is also a fun hobby of hers. sometimes, she colors ryan too....
don't get me wrong....i love veroncia to pieces. she is such a joy and brings so much to our family. she is the cutest little girl in the world! her smile and giggle can melt your heart. she is exactly were she was meant to be. she loves her family. she has a best friend in ryan. and i could not imagine my life without her in it.
but, phew!!! is she going through the terrible twos or what!?!!?!?!?!?
Oh Rayna!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the good laugh - I needed it today! That girl of yours is just too funny!! =)
And for the record, I think it's an Ust thing! Cecelia is the same "whirlwind" as V. But for me, that's all I have to deal with. I can only imagine adding 4 boys to that.
Wish we lived closer to get these girls together!
Hugs to you and Miss V!!
She's Back! Rayna I've been aching to read your blog...so good to hear from you in writing. You are too funny, and Veronica is really sowing her royal oats isn't she? I think not only is it a girl or 2 year old thing, but a veronica thing, and that's why we love her, right??? What great kids you have!
ReplyDeleteAh I've been going through withdrawal. I need more pictures!!

ReplyDeleteGreat to "catch up" with the Eyermans :)!
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better-Jack is not sleeping thru the night either and HATES milk (well milk that isn't from me). Not sure how you are surviving as it may be the death of me.
Girls are little wild women. Maggie never ceases to amaze me with her daily stunts!
Hope all is well :)
